The Olive Hill Commission on Cultural Heritage

Established by the City of Olive Hill in 1992 

The purpose of the commission is to promote, restore and preserve the integrity and dignity of the Appalachian peoples living in and around the eastern Kentucky community of Olive Hill. Collectively, through the preservation of the cultural and historical customs, habits and traditions community restoration of local monuments and buildings self esteem and civic pride by the promotion of education, jobs, tourism and economic development.
