Grayson
Lake State Park is the stage for the musical summer drama, "Someday."
The story is a poignant tale of love and war, divided loyalties, and family
conflict, set against the backdrop of life in Eastern Kentucky in the 1860s.
This beautiful musical drama is the production of Robert Harris, and is based on
actual experiences of his great-great grandfather, Hiram Rice, a Confederate
officer, and organizer of Field's Partisan Rangers. The 2001 season starts July
6 and goes through August 4, Friday and Saturday performances.
Advance tickets are $8 adults and $5 children 12 and under. At the gate: $10
adults and $6 children 12 and under. Grayson Lake campers $5.50 each. For
information and reservations, call (606)286-4522.
