bonnet1; bonnet2: Inv. #3110: This quilt’s name is as sweet as its subject—Sun Bonnet Sue. Made in the 1940-1950’s, it is appliquéd in bright colors on white. Typical of the era, it is hand appliquéd, hand quilted, hand hemmed. It has a cotton top, cotton batting, and cotton lining. Sized a generous 76” wide x 84” long, it would be beautiful for a little girl’s room. $649.97.

farmer1; farmer2: Inv. #3111: This quilt would make the perfect center-piece for a boy’s room. Made in the 1960’s, it has colors typical for the era appliquéd on white. Hand appliquéd, hand quilted, hand hemmed. It has a cotton top, batting and lining. Sized 75” wide x 91” long, it could easily be used for a spread. $699.97.

poppy1; poppy2: Inv. #2863: This quilt has appliquéd poppies in 2 shades of red with green leaves. It has embroidered embellishments and stems, all on a white background. This authentic old-fashioned made quilt has a cotton top, lining, and batting. Estimated to have been made in the 1940-1950’s, it is hand appliquéd, hand quilted and hand hemmed. It measures a liberal 72” x 88”—much larger than most quilts made in that era. $679.97
